SUNDAY SHORTS VI
This weeks menagerie of miscellanea, seen and digested by me, to be regurgitated here to stimulate your mind.
If you have any suggestions for the Sunday shorts please send them to “thescientificmoustache [at] gmail [dot] com”.
[Fig.1] This album, it is striking, well produced and stylish. The Mad Violinist is a very talented man. More information can be found by clicking on the image.
[Fig.2] Tom the dancing bug, is an odd comic that doesn’t really have a genre, it just is what it is, and that is hilarious and insightful. This one particularly tickled me.
[Fig.3] Last month news broke that a comet in late 2013 would be brighter than the full moon as it streaked through the inner solar system. The prospect of this is astounding, it is being billed as potentially once in a civilization comet. Image links to article on Astronomy Now. Image Credit: Space.com.
[Fig.4] Not being a big Cher fan, or an X-factor fan. This still blows me away every single time I here it. The way this 16 year old girl sings it give it so much more meaning. I have so much more respect for the songwriting behind it. Ella’s vocals literally soar. Gives me goosebumps every time.
[Fig.5] This online repository covers every single major discovery in particle physics. While it was built some time ago and not updated since; it is still a great resource. Click the image to be taken to the contents page.
